CWA 1040 Members Stand Together for a Fair Contract!

CWA Local 1040 members throughout the state of New Jersey stood together in solidarity on Wednesday to demand a fair and just contract. While negotiations are ongoing, members found it important to stand up to ensure their voices are heard. 

Our members, as well as CWA members from numerous locals, helped keep the state running and afloat during the pandemic. Most of our members worked directly through one of the most hazardous times in recent history. We took voluntary furlough days to help balance the budget during covid. Now we are asking the state to remember these sacrifices and do the right thing in negotiating a fair and just contract that provides real raises and affordable healthcare options. 

We will continue to stand as one during the negotiation process until we get the contract that we deserve!
